Since 2002, GourmetGiftBaskets.com has been creating thoughtfully handcrafted gourmet gifts for customers across the country. Founded by President & CEO Ryan Abood, the company began with a simple idea: make it easy to send high-quality, meaningful gifts that feel personal, no matter the distance.
What started as a small family operation in the basement of a flower shop in New Hampshire has grown into a nationally recognized gifting company. Today, we design and deliver gourmet gift baskets, baked goods, chocolates, fresh fruit gifts, handcrafted popcorn, and specialty foods for holidays, celebrations, corporate gifting, and life's meaningful moments.
Where Our Roots Began
More than two decades earlier, Ryan's parents, Trudy and David Abood, purchased Chalifour's Flowers, a neighborhood flower shop in Manchester, New Hampshire. With little experience but plenty of determination, they learned the business from the ground up. To make the purchase possible, they sold the shop's delivery van, and for months David delivered flowers throughout the city on a bicycle while they worked tirelessly to build the business.
That flower shop became the foundation of everything that followed. It taught the family the value of hard work, perseverance, craftsmanship, and exceptional customer care. The principles that continue to guide us today.
