We’d be lying if we said we didn’t enjoy a fancy summer cocktail now and then. You know the ones – herb-speckled fresh fruit-infused elixirs that pollute Pinterest feeds around the globe. But as gorgeous as they look and as delicious as they taste, there’s no way we could turn our backs on the original summer drink: the Margarita.
Perfected with Powell & Mahoney’s mixer and Margaritaville’s salt rimmmer (found in these gifts) these margaritas effortlessly cut through the day’s heat. And, it turns out, they get even better because apparently you can have your booze and eat it too.
Limes, thinly sliced
½ cup tequila
1 cup Powell & Mahoney Margarita Mix
Place lime slices in the popsicle molds. Thoroughly combine mix and tequila, then pour it into the molds. Freeze for at least 24 hours. Makes 4 popsicles, depending on the size of the mold.
