Richard Cadbury invented the first Valentine's Day candy box in the late 1800s in Victorian England and now more than 36 million heart-shaped boxes of chocolate are sold for Valentine's Day each year! Every brand, from all-American Hershey to gourmet European chocolatiers, creates deluxe boxes, in all shapes, of different flavored chocolate candies. Whether it be caramel, dark chocolate cream, raspberry, mint or classic vanilla, everyone has their favorite (and least favorite!) chocolate bonbon flavor in that box. Instead of grabbing any old box off the shelf this Valentine's Day why not make your own for your sweetheart!
